For nearly 30 years, Bonita Gooch has served Wichita and communities across Kansas as a journalist, business leader, and community advocate.

As publisher of The Community Voice, Bonita has spent decades listening to residents, highlighting community concerns, supporting local businesses, and helping connect people with opportunities and resources. She has built a reputation for integrity, service, and bringing people together to solve problems.

A Wichita native and University of Kansas graduate, Bonita chose to invest her life and career in the community she calls home. Through her work, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges facing Kansas families and the relationships needed to get results.

Now, Bonita is ready to bring that experience to Topeka and be a strong voice for the people of our community.
